Rudder Workshop
This workshop is ideal if you want to find out whether building an aircraft is for you. We will teach you how to read drawings, use the tools, prepare the individual components an to assemble the rudder.
This is a 1-day workshop, takes place in a class setting and is a great opportunity to connect with other builders. Contact us for available dates and pricing.
Complete Your Aircraft In 3 Weeks
We will assist you in building your entire aircraft from the delivery of the crate to the first flight!
We guarantee that your aircraft will be ready for its airworthiness inspection no later than 120 days after delivery of the crate, 150 days if it needs to be painted! If we miss the date, we will take $2,000 off the final invoice!
During the built you will have to visit us (3) times for 6 long work days:
1st visit: Assembly of the empennage and the fuselage.
2nd visit: Installation of the engine, wiring, assembly and rigging of the wings. First engine start at the end of this week.
3rd week: Installation of the doors, interior, controls. Final installation of the wings. Ready for the airworthiness inspection!
In between the weeks you spend with us we will continue to work on your aircraft, focusing on tasks which have no or only a small impact on your 51% portion of the built. We will also use this time to prepare the aircraft and its components for your next visit.
This program assumes a pre-built instrument panel as well as a common engine. We are working with a quality paint shop, who could paint your aircraft between week 2 and 3.

Wrap Up

Empennage
We will organize and prepare all components for assembly. When you arrive at our shop, you can get right to work. Our experienced team provides your with the right tools and parts, exactly when you need them!
By the end of this 5 day program you will have completed the horizontal and vertical stabilizers as well as the rudder and the elevator. Contact us for details and pricing.
Fuselage
Our team will have the steel cockpit frame and all aluminum components prepared for you. If desired, we can also have the frame powder coated and corrosion proofed in advance of your visit.
We will guide you through the construction of the front and aft sections of the fuselage. Before the two halves are joined, we recommend to already prepare the fuselage for the installation of components like the ELT, autopilot servos, antennae or wires and hoses.

Wings & Flaperons
Wings and flaperons can appear intimidating and now you don't only have to build one but two! As with our other packages, everything will be ready for you to go when you arrive at our shop.
Once you have finished the first wing, the second one will be a breeze!
We recommend that at this point you have already decided on what engine you are planning to install and whether it required a header tank, as this will impact the fuel system in the wings. We also recommend to already install the wiring for the wingtip / landing lights as well as the hoses for the pitot tube at this time.
The wings will take 6 days to complete, 7 days for the STOL due to its slats. Contact us for details and pricing.
